The brief

After a poorly rolled out rebrand in 2017, the Murdoch Children's Research Institute audience were in desperate need of a positive brand experience. In consultation with MCRI's copywriter and executive team, I was tasked with designing the 2019 Annual Report under the theme of "Together, Creating possible". The report needed to be an effective and aspirational communication piece that presented the Institute's achievements with a focus on helping all children reach their full potential.

The solution

I chose to visualise the theme of the report through aspirational hand drawn illustrations that allude to the “possible” that children can achieve when backed by MCRI’s groundbreaking research. These illustrations were then placed against striking and colourful photography that reflect the visual MCRI brand and its values.
